Going somewhere? by Rythmear Going somewhere? by Rythmear
There is always someone watching.

Always.

Mr. Veillance belongs to :iconbug-off:

(P.S - Yes, I'm aware that I still can't draw :P - but I liked the idea way too much to not do it.)

I finally got myself some time to look at all the deviations from other members. Anyway...

Nice drawing. You really did a good job.

^.^ Cheers - it's basically just a sketch :P - the more I stray away from sketches, the more they look like them.

Now now, you've got the atmosphere and perspective down easy peasy, so it's not like you don't have the image all up in your mind's eye.
All you gotta do is practice getting it on paper like.

Evidence: Look at this piece of shit ----> bluefluke.deviantart.com/art/M… LOOK AT IT. O_O

You wanna know how I (and every other artist for that matter) got good at it?
1: Practice.
2: The delusional belief that they are in fact good (i.e. positive reinforcement).
3: Practice.

Set aside like an hour a week, throw on your favorite podcast, kick back with a beer/coffee and get your jam on.
Try using cheap printer paper and a mechanical pencil (computer stuff should come later) and doodle. If it sucks, oh well, toss it and start again until you "find" something
you see having potential and re-draw it, again and again until it matches with the vision you have in your minds eye.
Ignore the techniques and styles of your favorite artists (you can assimilate those later) use what's easiest for YOU and eventually they'll evolve into your "style".

You just gotta practice and believe. :3

Ta man :3

I already sketch a shitload in my journals, but I've yet to actually upload any of it 'cause they're more random scraps than full pictures.

Put these back-to-back and you almost get a sort of fevered nightmare sequence.

Hmm, gives me a feeling of isolation.
